I always spend a few minutes admiring the one by the main house at Chanticleer. <br />My number one favorite plant for winter interest in my garden is a Corylus avellana 'Contorta' (Harry Lauder's Walking Stick). It's right next to the walkway to the entrance of our house and come January it's always backlit by the midday sun which sets off those stunning bright green catkins.
